What to bring against this boss

A party from all 38 heroes of the game, at level 1 and without stars — so what shows is the hero, not the investment in them.

Why this party

  • Chaos hits the chapter's school for ×1.5
  • the boss reduces incoming damage by 6 — one big hit lands better than five small ones
  • the boss drains the skill charge — whoever's damage sits in the skill loses more
  • the rage turns on at 40% health — shields and barriers are worth more
  • the party has team healing
  • the party has a tank

The advice is assembled from data: element against the chapter's school, the boss's traits, role balance and variety of abilities. The weights of the terms are reasoning, not a measurement in battle.

Opening

All the roads of color converge here, at the blinding throne.

Chromat, Devourer of Colors, smiles with every hue at once: "Give me the spectrum — and there will be no strife, only one perfect light."

I know that smile. So the Void once lied. I step into his radiance with my eyes shut tight.

Ending

Chromat scattered into a rainbow and crumbled into sparks — I did not let one color eat the rest.

In the quieted light Aurora is born, the Dawn of the Spectrum: "You have learned to bind the colors. Take my daybreak as well."

But where his brilliance faded, I saw what cannot be: a color before all colors — the First Grey. Not the grey of the Void — the one from whom both the colors and the dark came forth. It was looking at me. End of the third campaign.
