Opening
The Ashen Waste has gone cold to a grey rime. The Void does not douse the fire of Chaos — it freezes the very fury, until even the embers fall silent.
Somewhere beneath the ice a spark still smolders. I will fan it before the frost takes all.
Ending
The ember catches — and the frost recoils, hissing.
Kara, Herald of Ash, throws up a burning fist: "You gave me back my fire. Now I will kindle the rest."
The waste breathes heat again — but the cold came from somewhere beyond the edge of the world.
